Ramadan is Mashallah coming soon. However, being Muslims in Japan or elsewhere, we have to ponder whether we are getting ready to welcome it.
Is it not yet time for us all to revert to Allah and humbly start asking for His eternal forgiveness? Just pause for a moment to think about the countless bounties Allah has been showering upon us even before we are born.
Now, it is the time to imagine the Paradise and the hellfire as if they were right in front of us. Unfortunately, if we look back on our very own lives since the last Ramadan, most of us will realize that the quality of Iman has actually gone down instead of improving.
We make supplications all the time, pray almost every single day, pay our Zakah and perform all sorts of good deed. But how come, our duas are not accepted, our lives do not improve, the level of our Iman does not go up. The reason is that, sadly, many of us perform the above-mentioned rituals without truly remembering Allah.
Now it is the time before and during the sacred month of Ramadan that we return to Allah, seek His forgiveness and get ready to face Him. May Allah help us all to do good deeds while being at the highest level of Iman and spirituality.
